Fisch features a variety of fishing rods that players can use to catch fish from the vast ocean. While some of these rods are quite easy to obtain, others like the Rod of the Eternal King require you to complete certain tasks before you can use it to reel in some fish.

This late-game fishing rod failed to leave an impression when it was first introduced. However, with recent buffs, it has become one of the best rods to add to your collection. It is worth noting that you cannot directly purchase this rod from a merchant on any of the islands. This rod can only be crafted.

To craft this rod, you must head over to the Ancient Isles and unlock the Ancient Archives. This is a long and challenging process that requires you to collect a couple of items, team up with three other players, and open a huge door. Once on the island, look for a waterfall on its western side. You must use a glider to reach the cave behind it.

Then, take the rope and reach the large chamber, where you must use four Ancient Fragments to open the door. Inside, you will find a crafting table. Here, you can create the Rod of the Eternal King. Note that you must be at least level 650 to check out the rod. Hence, keep fishing and increase your level before hitting up the Ancient Isles.

How to craft the Rod of the Eternal King

Once you have the Crafting Table unlocked, it is time to start collecting the required items and enough money to create the Rod of the Eternal King. Below, we have the complete list of items you will need to make this rod. You can also check this out by interacting with the Stone Anvil.

Golden Sea Pearl x2 - To get this item, you must fish near Roslit Bay's shore and try to catch clams. You will eventually obtain Golden Sea Peals from them.
Inferno Wood x3 - This item can be obtained by fishing anywhere on Roslit Bay or in the Roslit Volcano. You will require the Magma Rod to acquire the latter.
Lunar Thread x1 - This item can be caught while fishing anywhere in the game. However, its rarity means that it will be a long time before you have it. You also have a 3% chance of obtaining it from a Treasure Chest.

Once you have all these items and 250,000 C$, head back to the Stone Anvil. You will need this much in-game money to forge the Rod of the Eternal King.

Apart from this, the rod also applies some other passives to your catch. First, it gives you a 10% chance to additionally boost your luck by 150% every 30 seconds.
