Fisch has an array of fishing rods that allow players to catch a variety of loot from the water. The Rod of the Forgotten Fang or ROTFF is one of the newest additions to the game but offers good stats that have drawn the community's attention. However, it is natural for players to not know how to obtain this rod, especially since you cannot directly purchase it from a merchant on an island.

As stated, you cannot find the Rod of the Forgotten Fang at a merchant's store in the game. This is because you must craft this item at a specific location that was recently added. To craft this rod, you must unlock and access the Ancient Archives Chamber, which can be found on the Ancient Isles.

Once there, look for a waterfall near the shores. Parkour and use a glider to head inside the small opening behind the waterfall, after which you will reach a huge chamber with four columns. These pillars can be activated by using found Ancient Fragments. Note that you need three other players since you must activate all the pillars simultaneously.

These fragments are scattered across the map and will take some time for you to collect. Once you have them and unlock the chamber, you can access the crafting table to create the Rod of the Forgotten Fang. It is also worth noting that you can find this rod on the list only when you reach level 750.

Crafting the Rod of the Forgotten Fang is not an easy task as you must gather some rare items. Below, we have the complete list of items needed to create this fishing rod and where you can find them.

Meg's Spine x2 - To get this item, keep fishing near the Ancient Isles. To increase your chances, we recommend fishing in the western part of the island near the waterfall.
Meg's Fang x2 - You can obtain the Fang by fishing in the same location as above.
Lunar Thread x1 - You will randomly pull Lunar Thread while fishing in the game. You also have a measly 3% chance of obtaining this item from a Treasure Chest.

Once you have all these items, you must also have a fortune safely tucked away since you will need a whopping 300,000 C$ to finally craft the Rod of the Forgotten Fang. Simply interact with the anvil in the chamber to begin the process.
