Roblox Tandem is one of the most fun-to-play obby games available right now. For those who don't know, obby refers to games with obstacle courses or parkour challenges. While there are countless such single-player games on the internet, this one is strictly a two-player experience. To play it well, you have to be mentally prepared for well-synced coordination.

For new players, it might get a little overwhelming during their initial journey in Roblox Tandem. That's why, we have created this beginner's guide that explains everything you need to know as a starter.

Getting started in Roblox Tandem

Your main objective in this Roblox experience is to complete the obstacle course with your partner. However, you need to tackle them while riding a tandem. One of the players will be responsible for the acceleration/deacceleration of the tandem and the other for steering. Both players need to match their movements so they don't fall off the ridge or get eliminated by the obstacle.

Upon starting the game, you will spawn in a lobby with multiple pods in front of you. The red pod is for the driver and the blue one is for the steerer. If you want to control the acceleration, you can join as the driver. For changing directions, you can join as the steerer. It should be noted that you can't start the game until the subsequent driver and steerer pods are occupied.

Once both the pods are filled, you and your partner will be teleported to the obstacle course. After tackling the first few challenges, you will end up in the Winter area. That's where you will be reaching your first checkpoint. In case you die, you will start from the last checkpoint after respawning.

Remember that you will spawn at the checkpoint only if you are the driver. It's the driver who gets to choose the checkpoint while entering the pod. The best way to make it to the end is to move the tandem slowly. That way, you can adjust your directions and avoid getting eliminated by a threat. To increase your chances of winning, you can invite your friend to a Private Server. It is free to create.

Keep in mind that you can also use Revives to continue the game from where you died. However, it is advised that you use those Revives carefully. The best time to use it is when you are close to another checkpoint.
