The main objective of Mow Ur Lawn is exactly what the title says — you must use your tool to mow the lawn. Equipped with a trusty weed cutter, you can start shredding through the foliage based on your current speed level. Speed level can be increased through training or by mowing the lawn; the former is the faster method but yields no additional resources. The latter gives you access to upgrade materials and wins, the primary currency of the game.

Speed levels are also important for the title’s progression system; they dictate how fast you move through the different map zones. Each zone has a recommended speed level that you must surpass to mow the lawn at a reasonable pace. If it exceeds your current level, you will not be able to move much in these areas.

As you mow the lawn, a gauge at the top of the screen gradually fills up. Once you shear through a set number of blocks, the gauge rewards you with stars. Clicking on the stars resets the gauge and the map, rewarding you with wins and sending you back to the starting point. This gives you control over your progression, allowing you to cash in the wins when necessary.

Gameplay mechanics

Lawn-mowing simulator: Mowing the lawn is as simple as moving in the chosen direction. While the game does not restrict you as far as movement direction goes, it is prudent to be efficient about your approach. After all, it would take a long time to clear the map if you were to pick a random path. So, we recommend moving from one row to the next, for which you can use the grid pattern seen on the map. That way, you won’t have to seek a small patch of grass you may have missed earlier just to obtain the final star.
Worlds: The game is divided into multiple worlds, and each presents a different level of challenge. Each world unlocks new mechanics, giving you access to something that can radically change the way you approach the game. The first world introduces every mechanic in the game, the second gives you access to the Auto Mowing feature, and the third unlocks Rebirths. Worlds can be unlocked by achieving the specified speed level and accruing a certain amount of wins.
Pets: Pets apply multipliers to your speed, effectively acting as passive boosts. You can use wins to unlock different types of eggs, which hatch into a Pet of Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic rarities. Their usefulness in the game’s progression is undeniable, making them a critical part of your journey.
Lawn Mower: The machine you use to mow the lawn starts as a humble weed cutter, which can be upgraded using screws that spawn on the map. These screws spawn randomly, but they don’t disappear after a while. That said, it might be better to prioritize upgrades since they add a multiplier to your wins, giving you more currency upon clearing a lawn.
Training: You can approach the Training area to improve your speed. There are two levels of training: the passive option and the 2x multiplier. The 2x multiplier requires you to either rapidly click and fill up the bar at the bottom or use the auto-clicker. We recommend using potions instead and settling for the passive speed farm. That way, you won’t have to worry about continuously mashing the Left Mouse Button for a long time.
Shop: The in-game Shop provides various premium items that can help boost your progression pace. You can purchase exclusive eggs, potions, powerful game passes, and more. The shop is also where you can activate the potions you obtain through playtime rewards and login bonuses, located right next to the purchase button. Simply hit the Use button to apply the effects of the chosen potion and enjoy the benefits for the specified duration.
