Murder Mystery 2 provides various modes to keep you entertained beyond standard matches. The Disguises is one mode that can keep you engaged for hours. Much like in standard mode, this one has the Sheriff, Murderer, and Innocent roles. However, some things make the Disguises mode interesting.

For a new player, figuring out what's happening in this mode can become confusing. That's what the following Murder Mystery 2 Disguises mode guide will help with.

How to play the Disguises mode in Murder Mystery 2

Upon starting the Disguises mode, you will receive the role of an Innocent, Sherrif, or a Murderer. Identifying who is who is very difficult in this mode because everyone looks the same. If you are an Innocent, there's absolutely nothing you have to do but survive. You will earn XP for surviving throughout the game. But for the Sheriffs and Murderers, there are different objectives.

If you are assigned the role of a Murderer, you will spawn with a knife in this mode. When the countdown begins, you will have to kill every other player on the map. However, avoid getting caught in the act. If a Sheriff catches you, they will kill you with a pistol. Once the Murderer is dead, the match ends in favor of the Sheriff and the Innocents.

As a Sheriff, your main objective is to identify the Murderer and kill them as soon as possible. This doesn't mean you can kill anybody on the map. The match will end in the favor of the Murderer instantly if the Sheriff kills an Innocent. Thus, only the Sheriff can save the day for both themselves and the Innocents.

Winning a game in Disguises mode rewards you with items like coins and XP. This is unlike the Assassin mode where you get either coins or XP.

Tips to win in the Disguises mode in Murder Mystery 2

A Sheriff should not work hastily and shoot a player if they doubt them. They can simply move here and there and wait until someone's killed. Whenever a Murderer uses their knife, a stabbing sound will be audible. The Sheriff can follow that noise and catch the Murderer red-handed.

In case you are playing as a Murderer, try to be away from the crowd. Anyone from them can be a Sheriff. So it is advised to target isolated players. Moreover, avoid going on a killing spree because doing that will make the Sheriff's job easier. With fewer players in the game, it becomes slightly easier to figure out the Murderer.

As an Innocent, you won't spawn with any weapon. To win, the best you can do is survive and let the Sheriff catch the Murderer. To increase your chances of survival, you should change your location constantly. This will keep you away from the Murderer and help you survive till the end.
