Monster Ghoul is an anime-themed immersive RPG that pays homage to the animanga series Tokyo Ghoul. In the game, players must choose a path and either side with the Ghouls or join the CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul). Recently, the game underwent a complete rework for the Ghouls, marking its second-biggest update yet.

The update brings about multiple reworks and additions with a major focus on Ghouls. This article dives deep into the additions and fixes made in Update 2 in Monster Ghoul.

The biggest changes done to Monster Ghoul are reworks and additions to the Ghouls. Here are the particulars:

Added Ghouls:

Furuta Nimura (Kichimura Washuu)

Furuta1

  • E: Dash over a fairly long distance, targeted attack if someone enters the area (circle).
  • R: Pull yourself toward the enemy and do a combo, knock back.
  • F: Double dash forward swinging your kagune and drag anything with you.
  • No C

FurutaK1

  • E: Ground shockwave (holdable for more range).
  • R: Part 1: Dash using your fist; Part 2: If hit something; punch two times (+knockback).
  • F: Part 1: Dash and dunk; Part 2: Slide; If hit something: grab and throw away.
  • C: Mode Switch (Range).
  • E: Grab and slam down.
  • R: Slam the ground with your kakuja tails to create two shockwaves that surge forward.
  • F: Create an area. If someone enters, hit them with a tentacle that emerges from the ground.

Reworked Ghouls:

Nishiki Nishio

  • E: Kick forward.
  • R: Dash forward, pushing the player forward along with the user.
  • F: Leap into the air and slam down.
  • No C

Touka Kirishima

Touka1 (non-crystal wing version)

  • E: Slash forward with your wing.
  • R: Jump backward using your agility.
  • F: Leap into the air and shoot crystals below, later slamming into the ground after the wave of shards.
  • C: Mode Switch (Crystal wing version).
  • E: Shoot shards forward.
  • R: Shoot a small wave of shards.
  • F: Leap into the air and shoot crystals below, later slamming into the ground after the wave of shards.

Shuu Tsukiyama

  • E: Shoot your kagune forward, then slide yourself where your kagune is located.
  • R: Grab near you and stab multiple times then knock him back.
  • F: Perform a 360 slash, moving your character forward.
  • No C

Ken Kaneki

Ken1

  • E: Each tentacle performs an individual slash forward, moving you.
  • R: Shoot your right tentacle forward.
  • F: Shoot tentacles forward, piercing the player, leading into a barrage that lifts the player higher.
  • No C

Ken2

  • E: Barrage of tentacles constantly shooting forward.
  • R: Slash with your right tentacles, moving forward, then perform a spinning 360 attack.
  • F: Leap a high distance into the air, slamming down into the ground.
  • No C

Kenk1

  • E: Paired with C, create a slam down.
  • R: Slash forward with both centipede tentacles.
  • F: Shoot centipede tentacles forward, moving your body with them.
  • C: Run at high speed, then leap into the air.

Kenk2

  • E: Spin in a 360, creating an attack.
  • R: Leap into the air, slashing down onto the ground, leaving marks.
  • F: Teleport forward, slashing.
  • C: Yell out, healing the player. Noro Noro1
  • E: Grab near you.
  • R: Plunge your kagune into the ground to launch a Noro mouth attack.
  • F: Grab and throw.
  • No C

Norok1

  • E: Create a launchable Noro mouth that bursts from the ground.
  • R: Shoot your tongue out and bring it back.
  • F: Shoot fast chunks of yourself into randomized places (Heal you).
  • C: Burrow into the ground and travel underground using your M1/click.

Yamori (Yakumo Oomori)

Yamori1

  • E: Perform a quick leap forward, slamming the ground.
  • R: Shoot tentacles forward, moving your body with them.
  • F: Grab and slam down.
  • No C

Yamorik1

  • E: Slam forward onto the ground with your kagune, stunning the player.
  • R: Take a chunk of ground. If R is reused, throw the chunk of ground away.
  • F: Charge forward swinging your kagune; if the attack connects, the player caught in the grab is hurled forward, potentially stunning them if they collide with a wall.
  • C: Perform a long-range leap.

Takizawa (Seidou Takizawa)

Taki1

  • E: Unleash a barrage, and upon completion, knock back your target.
  • R: Pierce forward with your tentacle.
  • F: Throw a shard forward, If hit: knock back.
  • C: Leap into the air, releasing a flurry of shards.

TakiK1

  • E: Performs a 360-degree slash, swiping forward in the process.
  • R: Targeted shard attack from the kagune.
  • F: Slashes forward, and if a hit is landed, it continues with a barrage of slashes, ending with a final slash that throws the opponent back.
  • C: A dash for mobility.

TakiK2

  • E: Dash, grab, lift, and slam.
  • R: Go beneath the surface, and upon impact with a target, drag them underground and deliver multiple slicing attacks.
  • F: Jump in the air, and throw shards If anyone is in the area.
  • C: A dash for mobility (do damage).

Tatara Tatara1

  • E: Basic tail attack, knockback to the left.
  • R: Slam forward with your tentacle.
  • F: Throw upward.
  • No C

TataraK1

  • E: Slam the ground.
  • R: Dash forward, slam the ground.
  • F: Dash forward, drag, and push.
  • C: Mode Switch (Range).
  • E: Spit out multiple flames.
  • R: Release flames, knockback.
  • F: Slam the area with flames.

UTA

Uta1

  • E: Dash forward, piercing right with your tentacles.
  • R: Dash forward, piercing left with your left tentacles.
  • F: Dash forward, piercing with all your tentacles.
  • No C

Utak1

  • E: Leap into the air, smashing down into the ground can reuse one more time after low cooldown.
  • R: Dash forward, slashing with all arms; If hit something: combo slashes then knockback.
  • F: Slam the ground, creating a shockwave moving forward, leaving a trail of rocks.
  • C: Shoot out your tentacles, bringing a player in, blinding and shooting the player out.

Eto Yoshimura

Eto1

  • E: Slash forward; afterward, shoot out a small wave of shards.
  • R: Slash forward.
  • F: Shoot shards forward.
  • No C

Etok1

  • E: Etok1 gets ready to jump, holding its jumping formation; once you click, it'll jump to the area pointed to.
  • R: Slash forward, If something hits: Slam him two times on the ground.
  • F: Shoot shards forward.
  • C: Shoot a 360-wave of shards from every angle.

Etok2

  • E: Shoot shards forward.
  • R: Slash forward.
  • F: Slam the ground (Small).
  • C: Leap into the air.
  • C + F: Leap into the air + Slam down a huge distance, creating a huge impact (Big).

Etok3 (Crab)

  • E: Slashes and slams that knockback.
  • R: Walk toward a direction and slashes. If hit something: drag it with you (Holdable).
  • F: Dash and throw shards (Holdable).
  • C: Let out a high-damaging beam (Need to fill rage bar beforehand).

Monster Ghoul's new update has brought in countless new optimizations and bug fixes. Here are the particulars:

  • Added new kagune AMON/AMON K1.
  • Added new trainer for CCG and Ghouls.
  • Added lights under weapons now that some didn’t work.
  • Added hold text for holdable moves.
