Special Anime Defense: Secret Units Guide

Special Anime Defense has been on a roll with the new events and units. Players have been actively hunting for better units and characters to further enhance their decks. This is a crucial step since it allows you to perform better in all game modes and collect other important resources. Among various other units in the game, the Secret ones are quite elusive and hard to obtain.

Hence, this article will give you some tips on how to get your hands on these units, along with a list of all the available Secret Units the game has to offer.

How to get your hands on Secret Units in Special Anime Defense

Similar to other units in the game, you must take your chances and roll for the Secret Units if you wish to add them to your deck. However, you can only obtain them if the roll happens under the Secret Banner. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and you must wait for the game to bring the Secret Banner that allows players to roll for these units.

On top of that, the Secret Units in the game have a mere 0.01% drop rate, making them extremely difficult to obtain. However, you must spend the same 50 Gems to roll for them. Hence, it is best to keep grinding and trying your luck every chance you get.

Since the banners keep refreshing every hour in the game, we highly recommend keeping an eye out for the Secret one. Until then, you can spend your time in the Story Mode or complete the various challenges to stock the Gems. You can also obtain Gems by redeeming the game's codes which sometimes also offer other interesting items.

At the moment, there are two Secret units in the game. They are very powerful and can go through evolution, making them deadlier.

Hosoka
Sand MadMan

Apart from their damage, these units have amazing skills that make them a great option for any deck. One can evolve Hosoka into Hosoka (Bungee) and Sand MadMan into Sand MadMan (Rage) using some ingredients. These features make the Secret Units quite sought-after in the game and for good reasons.

Hence, if you too wish to get your hands on them, we highly recommend playing the Story Mode or completing the various quests in the game. You can obtain anywhere from 50 to 300 Gems by completing each quest. This will allow you to stockpile the currency and roll at the Summon Portal till you obtain the desired unit.
