The Angel in Blox Fruits is one of the four Races you can spawn with at the beginning of your journey. While this Race is considered lackluster in comparison with the other options, that is not the case. The Angel has unique passives and buffs that can prove to be helpful if you play your cards right.
This article explains what the Angel Race does in Blox Fruits, and details more about the buffs you can gain while using it.
Blox Fruits: Angel Race overview
Upon starting your journey in this Roblox title, you have a 12.5% chance of spawning with the Angel Race. Other Races that a player can spawn with include options like Human (62.5%), Rabbit (12.5%), and Shark (12.5%). In comparison with the basic Human Race, the Angel Race is far more capable as it unlocks defensive capabilities for the battle.
This Race can help you get an edge against opponents who are attacking you in close range. Not only does it provide the ability to leap higher than usual, but also gives the ability to regenerate health. During the early game period, the Angel Race can come in handy with such buffs.
It should be noted that the above buffs are locked in the initial period. To obtain them, you will have to upgrade to Angel V2, V3, and V4, respectively.

As mentioned earlier, there's a little chance that you can spawn with the Angel Race in this game. However, if you haven't, you can use a Race Reroll to get it. A Race Reroll can be bought from the Tort NPC in exchange for 3000 Fragments. The Tort NPC can be found in the Cafe in the Second Sea and inside the Mansion in the Third Sea.
The base version of this Race is called Angel V1 and it slightly increases your jump height. For your reference, here are the buffs that you can get after awakening the Angel Race.
Angel Race V2:
- Obtainment: Do the Alchemist's quest in Green Zone island in the Second Sea.
- Buffs: Increases the height of the Air Jump ability. Also, reduces the energy consumption of the Air Jump by 10%. With Angel V2, you can get 11 Air Jumps instead of 10 before going into a cooldown period.
Angel Race V3:

- Buffs: Unlocks an ability called the Heavenly Blood. When activated, this ability increases your defense by 15%. Moreover, it also heals 12% of your health and boosts energy regeneration as well. The Heavenly Blood lasts for 4.5 seconds before going into a 30-second cooldown period.
Angel Race V4:
- Obtainment: Solve the Temple of Time puzzle on top of the Great Tree in the Third Sea. After solving this puzzle, you must beat the Trial of the King to get the Angel Race V4.
- Buffs: Receive maximum stats with increased damage, speed, and 10% HP regeneration. Plus, it unlocks the Prince of the Skies ability that allows the user to glide and fly in the air. Lastly, gain the King's Rule ability that creates a decaying aura around the user. Enemy caught inside the aura will suffer from slowness, damage, energy drain, and screen distortion.
