WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Elimination Chamber is a Premium Live Event organized by WWE every year in February-March. It is one of the major stops on the Road to WrestleMania. It is named after the Elimination Chamber match, which is the highlight of the night. The 2025 event is also known as No Escape: Toronto in Germany. The Premium Live Event will take place on March 1, 2025, live from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This will be the first Elimination Chamber event to take place in Toronto and the first WWE event at Rogers Centre since WrestleMania X8 in 2002. This is also the second Elimination Chamber to take place in Canada and the fourth consecutive event to take place outside the US.

Men's Elimination Chamber match

At the Royal Rumble post-event press conference, John Cena announced his entry into the match after falling just short of winning the Rumble to secure a chance at his 17th world title. The other participants, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul, earned their spots by winning qualifying matches against Sami Zayn, LA Knight Jimmy Uso, and Rey Mysterio, respectively. The lineup was completed when Damian Priest and Seth Rollins also won their qualifiers.

Women's Elimination Chamber match

Liv Morgan defeated Iyo Sky by disqualification to secure her place in the women's Elimination Chamber. In the match, Liv Morgan provoked Rhea Ripley into attacking her, resulting in a disqualification. As far as the other participants are concerned, Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair secured their places after securing victories over Candice LeRae and Piper Niven, respectively. Similarly, Bayley beat Lyra Valkyria to qualify. Naomi and Roxanne Perez completed the lineup after winning their matches against Chelsea Green and Raquel Rodriguez, respectively.

Tag Team Match: Nia Jax and Candice LeRae vs. Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus

While Tiffany Stratton was feuding with Nia Jax and Candice LeRae on SmackDown, she unexpectedly joined forces with Trish Stratus. At the Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Stratus will wrestle in front of her hometown crowd. She wrestled Becky Lynch in a steel cage at WWE Payback 2023, which was her first match since her surprise return to the Royal Rumble.

Unsanctioned match: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

After Sami Zayn lost his Elimination Chamber qualifier against CM Punk, Kevin Owens launched an attack on him. Following his loss to Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE Championship, Owens turned his focus to Zayn. As a result, The Great Liberator pressed for a fight with Owens and it was granted under unsanctioned rules, which he accepted.

According to WWE's official website, fans can tune in to Peacock TV to stream the 2025 Elimination Chamber. This will be the first Elimination Chamber to stream on Netflix, and fans outside the USA can watch it on the streaming platform with any subscription plan.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 date, time, and venue

Elimination Chamber 2025 will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025. It is only the second Elimination Chamber event after the 2020 event in March. This is because WrestleMania 41 was postponed to April 19 and 20 instead of the usual schedule, which is the first or second weekend of April.

Elimination Chamber 2025 will stream and broadcast live from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is the second time the Elimination Chamber event will take place in Canada after the 2023 event, which was held in Montreal. Further, the Elimination Chamber has now been consecutively held outside the United States since 2022, with Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Australia hosting the event. The venue for the event, Rogers Centre, has hosted WrestleMania twice, first in 1990 when The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan and then in 2002. The center has a capacity of approximately 40,000.

Men's Elimination Chamber Match

The main event of Elimination Chamber featured a match to determine Cody Rhodes' challenger for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins started the match, with Damian Priest, Logan Paul, John Cena, and CM Punk entering sequentially. Cena defeated Paul and engaged in a heated battle with Punk. He applied the STF on Punk after interference from Rollins and won the match. After the bout, Rhodes confronted Cena, but The Rock and Travis Scott appeared, with Rock demanding Rhodes' soul. In a surprising twist, Cena viciously attacked Rhodes, making him bleed profusely in the ring. Cena turned heel for the first time in twenty years.

Women's Elimination Chamber Match

The women's Elimination Chamber match kicked off the event, with the winner earning a Women's World Championship match at WrestleMania 41. Jade Cargill attacked Naomi just before the match began, revealing that she was the one who ambushed Naomi in December, leading to Naomi's elimination. Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, and Alexa Bliss fought inside the chamber, with Morgan eliminating Bayley and Bliss eliminating Perez. In the final moments, Belair countered Morgan’s Oblivion and delivered the Kiss of Death to secure the victory. After the match, Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky confronted Belair.

Tag Team Match

Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton faced Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in a tag team match. Stratus hit a top-rope Stratusfaction on Jax, dodging LeRae's interference, which led to Stratton finishing Jax with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

Unsanctioned Match

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens clashed in an unsanctioned match, using weapons and battling throughout the arena. Owens secured the win after multiple apron powerbombs on Zayn, but after the match, he attempted further damage until a returning Randy Orton intervened with an RKO. Orton then tried to punt Owens but was stopped by security, leading him to take out four guards with RKOs.
