5 reasons why 'Heel' Taker is 'Best for Business'

He will establish himself as the biggest face.

The biggest talking point to come out of a really good PPV is not the fact that Seth Rollins retained his title again or Brock Lesnar decimated him or that the Wyatt family sort of reunited or the hometown boy Randy Orton had a really good match. It was about Undertaker making an appearance and making Lesnar react in a way we’ve never seen him react to anyone. The Beast can handle any human being but The Undertaker is more than a mere mortal, isn’t he?That reaction was perfect and though Taker’s actions are more personal than heelish, it seems he may turn heel as weeks pass by.Here are 5 reasons why it’ll be best for business-

#5 Brock will be the biggest face

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Brock Lesnar has badassery written all over him and the fact that he’s transitioned himself seamlessly into a babyface is huge achievement. Lesnar was always an impressive personality but his character graph has escalated and made him seem much more larger than life. His legend in the WWE is already on a new stratosphere.

Undertaker’s return signals that Lesnar will be avenged for a match that he won clean. There may not be much to avenge. It was a fair victory. But the issue between these two is personal. And for that reason, Undertaker’s revenge may not seem fair and hence it is a heel move more than anything.

That re-instills the fact that Lesnar is a babyface and everytime these two have met, it has been great for Lesnar’s character.

#4 Role Reversal

The dynamic has shifted greatly

As mentioned before Lesnar is no longer a monster heel. Undertaker showed heel characteristics and it more or less seems that both of these characters have different roles since they last met at Wrestlemania 30. It’s an interesting dynamic altogether. We haven’t seen heel Taker for a long, long time. It’ll be interesting to see him perform that role at this juncture of his career where he is revered so much by fans and colleagues alike.

But it’s Mark Calaway we’re talking about.

This guy made us believe in a character like The Undertaker. Heel or face, he’ll have our curiousity and attention

#3 Good for The Dream Match

Makings for a dream match

It’s impossible to think of Sting as a heel. Really, he’s just that great playing an angelically dark, lonely character. He’s played that well for so many years. So, for the dream match to finally happen, this dynamic of Sting as face and Taker as heel will work correctly for their dream match which has been talked about for so, so long.

So, if the Undertaker is a heel, it sets everything in place for this feud to finally begin when Sting is all well and ready to return to the ring for one more match.

#2 New Number 1 heel?

Rollins may not be the only heel on top of the ladder

Seth Rollins, for the longest time now, has been the premier heel in the WWE. And he plays the role perfectly, mind you. Kevin Owens is touted as the second heel of the compnay. Rollins spent more time in the WWE and Owens’ has just started here, so you understand the order in which they stand.

But what happens when somebody like The Undertaker returns as a heel? That’s some major momentum shift. The lord of darkness has returned for a while it seems. And it increasingly looks like he’ll be facing both Lesnar and Rollins soon enough.

And when was the last time we saw Taker fight for the prize?

#1 Long time coming

Dark times ahead

We haven’t seen heel Taker for a long, long time. It’ll be interesting to see him perform that role at this juncture of his career where he is revered so much by fans and colleagues alike. His last heel run was as The American Badass. He hasn’t really had a heel role since he returned as the Deadman. His attire has been more like the American Badass this year.

But it’s Mark Calaway we’re talking about, afterall.

This guy made us believe in a character like The Undertaker. Heel or face, he’ll have our curiousity and attention. It looks like a feud that will live upto the hype.
