Not getting away

This match was certainly not a match between equals. Well, it was obviously not booked that way. Rollins was the one who for weeks scurried away from the Beast. Lesnar took out his whole stable and when he walked to the ring with Paul Heyman, he was clearly excited to devour on his prey.Anyway, the match saw the usual introduction to Suplex City and some offense from Seth Rollins, but Lesnar did not win and Rollins did not lose his title. All because of one man who decided to take his revenge more than a year later. Here are the 5 coolest things that happened during the main event.

#5 Hurdling over a barricade

Not getting away

Brock Lesnar is one of the few athletes in the realm of sports entertainment who can make a simple act look glorious. One simple move can get a mammoth reaction from his very attentive audience.

Case in point, at Battleground, Seth Rollins again tried to run away from The Beast but Brock Lesnar caught up to him. How? He got out of the ring, ran and hurdled over the barricade and caught on to the champ.

It was so seamless, so effortless for a man of his build. It certainly deserved a rewatch which it did get.

#4 Suplex City, B****

Welcome to Suplex City

Suplex City was having a gala time with its visitor who happens to be the World Champion. Seth Rollins did not tear it down. Instead, he looked like he’ll be taking more than the 16 suplexes John Cena took during his Summerslam match against Lesnar.

Lesnar surely was on his routine. He delivered 13 suplexes. 12 of them were German with one being a Belly to Belly suplex.

Rollins was tossed around like a rag doll, but he still picked himself up momentarily.

If it wasn’t for a legend returning, Rollins would have surely been pinned or so it seems.

#3 The Defence

Rollins showed some fight

The great thing is that one moment Rollins was selling Lesnar’s suplexes like they were devastating and life- changing. But, he showed some spurt of life after being tossed for another suplex. He landed on his feet and then delivered multiple superkicks. He then went for two straight suicide dives, only to be suplexed right before the third one.

That was the most offensive Rollins got in the match and his energy levels were ommendable. Because the moment he landed on his feet, it felt as if he wasn’t hurting from all the mayhem Lesnar subjected him to.

#2 Lesnar looks shocked

He isn’t human. He’s The Deadman.

Again, a simple act just speaks volumes.

After all the build up that has gone into making Lesnar this beast of a character, after conquering the streak, decimating John Cena, introducing Suplex City and basically making him seem like an indestructible force, it is quite something to see a beast apparently aghast.

That gives ample credibility to his opponent. It’s quite instant.

To get that expression out of somebody who’s so feared and so fearless, is something that stays on. That brings us to the next point considering a return that was well rumored after talks of SummerSlam began.

#1 The return of the Phenom

The Return

At this juncure of his career, even if he’s booked well or not, whenever that gong hits the arena, it will produce an unparalleled reaction. Undertaker returning or merely making a presence is that storied and important. The man who appears just once a year, for him to appear again is a major deal. It means big developments are on its way. It means that business will pick up.

Undertaker seems to be eying a rematch against the man who conquered him at the most unlikely scenario - at Wrestlemania!

Summerslam is coming up soon and it seems the Beast’s unstoppable reign as an indestructible force is coming to an end.
