The Paris Olympics 2024 is nearing its commencement and the Indian wrestling contingent is gearing up for the showpiece event. Wrestling has been a part of the Olympics ever since the Modern Olympics Games started way back in 1896. Apart from the 1900 edition, every Summer Games has seen wrestling be a part of it.
India has a decent record of winning medals in the Summer Games. Till date, the nation has been successful in achieving seven medals in total, which include two silver medals and five bronze medals.
