Abbigail ‘Abbey’ Weitzeil was born on December. 3, 1996. Weitzeil is a highly accomplished American Swimmer best known for her speed in freestyle events, particularly in the 50 and 100 m distances.

She became the first junior to set a record in the meet. She then went to the University of California, Berkeley, where she was part of the Bear’s dominant women’s swimming team. Four years later she bagged two medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This time Weitzeil earned a silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay and a bronze in the 4x100m medley relay.
