Alex 'Alexandra' Walsh is a Professional American Swimmer and an Olympic medalist having won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the 200-meter Women’s Individual medley, the category where she has again qualified for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Besides, she has won four medals at the World Aquatics Championship including three gold, and has won six medals at the World Swimming Championships including three gold medals there as well.
Walsh had previously won three medals at the Pan American Games, a silver at the World Junior Championships, and three gold at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships. She had attended the high school at Harpeth High School and completed her graduation from the prestigious University of Virginia. During her collegiate career, Walsh was a 19-time NCAA Champion and a 26-time ACC Champion, which is the most in the history of ACC. Furthermore, she was a 27-time All-American and 26-time All-ACC representing the Univesity of Virginia.
