Carson Tyler born June 9, 2004, is an American Springboard Diver. He hails from Moultrie, GA, U.S. He went to Colquitt County High School and Indiana University Bloomington. He became the third American to qualify for both the men's 10m platform and 3m springboard events at the US Olympic trials. He competes for the Indiana Hoosiers, where he has won three NCAA Championships.
In 2022, Carson competed at the World Championships, winning a bronze medal in the 10-meter mixed synchronized platform on July 1 with his partner Delaney Schnell, scoring 315.90 points in the final.
In 2024, Carson qualified for the U.S. Olympic Diving Team in the men's 10m platform. He won the men's 10m trial with a combined score of 965.45 (488.25 in the finals), surpassing 2020 Olympian Brandon Loschiavo. He also qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in the men's 3m springboard, finishing second behind fellow Hoosier and 2020 silver medalist Andrew Capobianco. Carson became the third individual to qualify for both events on the US Olympic team, following Greg Louganis and Mark Ruiz, the first to do so since 2000.
