Torri Huske is an American Olympic Gold medalist, a world champion, and an NCAA champion. Her journey began when she finished the 100-yard fly in 53.3 at 15. Huske holds numerous achievements in high school, including setting national records in the 100 fly and earning the 2019 Swammy Award for Age Group Swimmer of the Year (15-16). She lowered her 100 fly record to 50.69 and claimed the 50 free title with a 21.83 at the 2020 VHSL Class 6 State meet.
She attended the Stanford University. During her time at Stanford, Huske captured multiple titles at the Pac-12 Championships in her freshman year and helped the team secure an NCAA title in the 800 free relay. During her sophomore year, Huske won more individual and relay titles.
Huske won a gold medal in the 400 mixed medley relay and 100 fly among other events at the 2019 World Junior Championships. Although she narrowly missed a medal in the 100 fly at the Tokyo Olympics but earned a silver in the 400 medley relay. She has also set a new American record in the 100 fly at the 2022 World Championships in Budapest and earned her first world title. She made her personal best of 55.52 in the 100 fly and 52.93 in the 100 free at the 2024 US Olympic Team Trials. Recently, She won the gold medal in the women’s 100-meter butterfly at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.
