Ivan Puskovitch College

Hailing from West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States, Ivan Puskovitch is a first-time Olympian swimmer in 2024. He developed his swimming career at Episcopal Academy, before swimming for the USC Trojans and the West Virginia Mountaineers during his college career. Notably, he is the first athlete from West Virginia University to qualify for the Olympics in 2024.

Ivan Puskovitch is notable for being the open water and pool champion in the U.S. Junior National Championship. He is also the fifth male American competitor in open water swimming at the Olympics. Besides these, he ranked $14th in 10k race at the World Aquatics Championship in 2024.

Ivan Puskovitch College Career

Ivan Puskovitch first attended the University of Southern California (USC) in 2020 and swam for the USC Trojans men's team. He was declared as Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week. Moreover, he was a conference B finalist three times as a sophomore in 2021. He completed his undergraduate career at USC.

Ivan Puskovitch joined West Virginia University to do his master’s. Puskovitch trained with Team Santa Monica in California until January 2024 before joining the Mountaineers. He earned First Team All-Big 12 honors in his first year with the team. He is pursuing his master’s with West Virginia, as of June 2024.
