Kate Douglass is a Professional American Swimmer. She is a highly versatile swimmer and is known for competing in various categories. Douglass rose to prominence after qualifying for the US Team Trials in 2016, although she couldn’t make it to the Olympics. She then went on to win a Silver Medal at the World Junior Championships and began her spectacular International career.
In 2021, she qualified for the Tokyo Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in the 200-meter individual category, followed by a string of victories at the Short Course World Championships. Heading into the Olympics 2024, she has won a total of fourteen medals at the World Aquatics Championships including four gold, and has also won twelve medals at the World Swimming Championships including seven gold medals. At the Olympics, she won a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay alongside Gretchen Walsh, Torri Huske, and Simone Manuel. Douglass is yet to compete in the 100 m freestyle, 200 m breaststroke, and 200 m individual medley categories.
