The Nettakallappa Swimming Competition 2024 is scheduled for November 9 and 10 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre (NAC) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The tournament will commence at 10 am and conclude at 7 pm on both days.
The 2024 edition of the swimming competition consists of three age-group categories. They are as follows:
Senior - 18 years & above (Born in 2006 and before)
Group 1 - 15,16 & 17 years (Born in 2007, 2008 & 2009)
Group 2 - 12, 13 & 14 years (Born in 2010, 2011 & 2012)
Indian Olympian Dhinidhi Desinghu will be the major highlight at the Nettakallappa Swimming Competition 2024. The 14-year-old swimmer will compete in the 200m freestyle event.
Harshitha Jayaram is another budding swimmer to watch out for in the two-day competition. She'll head into the tournament as defending champion in the women's 100m freestyle and women's 50m backstroke events.
The 100m, 200m, and 400m events will be concluded in the Time Trial Format in the Long Course Pool, while the 50m races will be played in the Skins Format in the Short Course Pool.
What is the prize money at the Nettakallappa All-Championship 2024?
The Nettakallappa Swimming Championship 2024 will have a total prize pool of ₹10,00,000 across all events. The top eight swimmers will be awarded a cash prize in the Skins events, while the top three will receive a cash prize in the Time Trial events.
