Two new records were set on the second day of 49th Delhi State Open & Tiny Tots Aquatic Championship held at the Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Swimming Pool.
Rahul Sharma of Jugla Singh Tairak Sangh broke his second record of the tournament in the 200 m. breaststroke by clocking 02:32:71 beating the previous record of 02:39:66 set by Ashish Tokas of Khalsa College in 2012. He also won the gold medal in 400 m. Individual Medley for Men.
Sidhant Sejwal of South Delhi Swimming Association broke the record of 50 m. backstroke by clocking 0:29:57 in the heats beating the 7 year old record of 0:29:61 set by Praveen Tokas in 2006.
