India has one promising swimmer in Sandeep Sejwal who performed very strongly in Tokyo age group swimming meet. Though he lost the gold just by 0.5 seconds, he broke his own record and also the national record. He is also the first Indian to break into top 100 FINA rankings ( Federation International De Nation) In all three events ( 50,100 and 200 breaststroke) . Aspiring for a gold at commonwealth for Sejwal staying abreast with the International level is the biggest challenge.
