Thomas Heilman Height

Thomas Heilman is a professional American swimmer set to compete in the Paris Summer Olympics 2024 from the USA. He hails from Virginia and was born on February 7, 2007. He attended Western Albemarle High School and swims for the Cavalier Aquatics Club. He has an older brother who is also a swimmer. In 2022, Thomas competed in the USA International Team Trials in the 100 fly, 100 free, and 200 fly events and made the United States team.

He specializes in butterfly, freestyle, and individual medley events and has broken multiple under-18-year-old national records. He also won silver and bronze medals in the 100 m and 200 m butterfly events, respectively, at the 2021 Greensboro U.S. Open Championships.

Between 2022 and 2023, Thomas won seven medals across major tournaments. At the Junior Pan Pac Championships in Honolulu, he won three gold medals at the 100 m butterfly, 4×100 m freestyle, and 4×100 m medley and a silver medal at the 100 m freestyle, 200 m butterfly, and 4×200 m freestyle in 2022.

At the 2023 World Championships (LC) held in Fukuoka, he won the gold medal in the 4×100 m medley event. He was also the youngest member of Team USA. Thomas Heilman has decided to pledge his allegiance to the University of Virginia in the fall of 2025. Also at the 2024 US Olympic Team Trials in Indianapolis, Indiana, Thomas came in 2nd behind Luca Urlando at the semis in the 200 fly event. He went on to claim gold in the finals with a swim time of 1:54.50. In the 100-fly event, he came in second with a time of 50.80, just behind Dressel. Thomas also broke a Michael Phelps NAG record.

Thomas Heilman has some impressive personal best records in swimming. He completed the 50-yard freestyle in 19.24 seconds, the 50-yard short course freestyle in 22.89 seconds, the 50-yard long course freestyle in 22.89 seconds, the 100-yard freestyle in 42.00 seconds, and the 200-yard freestyle in 1:32.46 seconds.
