Gretchen Walsh is a Professional Swimmer who holds the World Record for the least time taken to complete a 100-metre butterfly which she completed in 55.18 seconds. Further, she also holds the record for the fastest 50-metre butterfly by an American, doing so in 23.11 seconds. Walsh is currently all set to represent the USA at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The two-time silver medalist from the 2024 Olympics won six medals at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships including five golds. Walsh then went on to do a sweep at the 2019 FINA World World Junior Swimming Championships with six gold medals.
