Canada Hockey Bio
The Canada Men's National Hockey Team competes in International hockey and other major competitions involving best hockey teams around the globe. The team is associated under Field Hockey Canada, a governing body of field hockey in Canada. The Canada National Hockey team fall under the Pan American Hockey Federation shortly known as PAHF (Americas).
The Canadian team is currently been coached by Paul Bundy, who was assistant coach for five years and has been an important part of Canada Hockey since 2010, going into the world cup 2018.
Achievements
The Canadian Hockey team has been in the scene since 1964, when they played in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. They are ranked eleventh on the FIH Rankings as of July 2018.
The team was eight in the 1998 Hockey World Cup which was their best performance till date. They were fourth in the Commonwealth Games the same year. However, Canada has dominated the Pan American Games and Pan American Cup. It has also earned a silver medal in the Champions Challenge in 2014.
