CR7 Motorsports, founded by Codie Rohrbaugh, has been a competitive team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, fielding the No. 9 Chevrolet Silverado. This team witnessed increasing attention because of veteran driver Grant Enfinger, who joined the team for the 2024 season. The association was considered a risk because CR7 is a relatively new team in the series. Still, under the guidance of crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz, they have outdone expectations to achieve some spectacular success throughout the season.
As of November 2024, Enfinger's rise through the Truck Series to the Championship 4 has CR7 Motorsports making headlines. It's a wonderful turnaround for Enfinger, now, and also for the team that came despite the previous team's closure. He earned his first victory of the season this year at Talladega and Homestead-Miami in the playoffs, showing he can perform under pressure. Though he had only two top-10 finishes in the first nine races, Enfinger certainly rebounded well, averaging a 6.7 finish in the last 13 races.
The championship race will be on November 8, 2024, at the Phoenix Raceway. Enfinger must make the most of the opportunity to take his first championship in the Truck Series. The four Championship 4 drivers are all after their first championship; thus, it is the crucial moment in history that CR7 Motorsports must bridge to win.
