Alba Fyre

Alba Fyre, formerly known as Kay Lee Ray, is a Scottish professional wrestler. Hailing from Paisley, Renfrewshire, Alba started her wrestling career at SWA Battlezone in May 2009. Since then, she has established her legacy by capturing numerous titles across various wrestling promotions, including Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), Pro-Wrestling: EVE, Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE), World of Sport Wrestling, Source Wrestling School, Defiant Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).

After honing her skills in various independent promotions, Alba signed a contract with WWE, performing on its affiliated WWE UK brand. There, she became the third competitor to capture the WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship and held the title for an impressive 649 days before losing it to Meiko Satomura. Alba was eventually drafted to the NXT brand and emerged as a key figure by clinching the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2022 alongside Io Shirai as well as the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship.

Isla Dawn

Isla Dawn, originally known as Courtney Stewart, is a professional wrestler from Glasgow, Scotland. She was born on February 2, 1994, to Annette Stewart and Johnie Stewart. Prior to joining WWE, she established her reputation in various British and American wrestling promotions, including PROGRESS Wrestling, Fierce Females, Source Wrestling School, Insane Championship Wrestling, International Pro Wrestling United Kingdom, American Combat Wrestling, and Queens of Combat.

In 2017, Isla debuted on the Raw brand under the ring name Stacy Coates, where she lost to Asuka in a squash match. The following year, she appeared in the WWE UK promotion before making her way to the NXT brand. Throughout her career, Isla has faced numerous prominent competitors, including Toni Storm, Killer Kelly, Rhea Ripley, Meiko Satomura, Blair Davenport, and her current tag team partner, Alba Fyre.

History of The Unholy Union

The Unholy Union between Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn was born from a fierce rivalry. After Isla interfered and cost Alba the NXT Women's Championship in her match against former WWE superstar Mandy Rose on November 15, 2022. The two clashed at NXT Deadline, where Isla emerged victorious. Alba evened the score in an Extreme Resolution match on 3 January 2023 but fell short in her pursuit of the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship soon after. In a surprising twist, Alba turned heel and aligned with Isla on the 31 January episode of NXT, forming the dark and dominant Unholy Union.

At NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn captured the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship by defeating Fallon Henley and Kiana James. Drafted to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft, they debuted on May 19 with a win over Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon. On June 9, they challenged WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to a unification match, which they lost on June 23, ending their 83-day reign as the final NXT Women's Tag Team Champions.

On Night 1 of the 2024 WWE Draft, Alba and Isla were drafted to Raw. On the May 27 episode of Raw, they interfered in the Women's Tag Team Championship match between Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark and champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, resulting in a no-contest. A brawl between the three teams in the same week of SmackDown prompted General Manager Nick Aldis to announce a triple threat match for the titles at Clash at the Castle: Scotland 2024. At the event in their homeland, The Unholy Union triumphed, with Isla pinning Baszler, becoming the second team to hold both the NXT and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships after Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.

At Night 1 of NXT: The Great American Bash 2024, Alba and Isla successfully defended their titles against The Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend). On the August 2 episode of SmackDown, Alba, and Isla competed against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill but were defeated after Blair Davenport attacked Cargill, aligning herself with The Unholy Union, resulting in a disqualification that prevented any title change. However, at Bash in Berlin 2024, they lost the titles back to Belair and Cargill, ending their 77-day reign.

Following their loss at Bash in Berlin 2024, The Unholy Union bounced back on the August 31 episode of RAW, defeating Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Kairi Sane) to secure the #1 contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. In the subsequent episode, Alba and Isla fell short in their rematch against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, failing to reclaim the titles.
