ThorSport Racing History

ThorSport Racing is the team with the longest-running continuous tenure in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. ThorSport Racing, founded in 1996 as SealMaster Racing, has participated in every season of the Truck Series since 1996.

They achieved their first victory in 1998 at the Truck Series held at the Flemington Speedway with Terry Cook. ThorSport Racing earned their championship in 2013 with Matt Crafton.

ThorSport has participated in 28 Truck Series seasons as of the 2024 season. The team has completed 660 races in the series with 48 victories and 43 pole positions to its name. The team recently won the 2024 NASCAR Truck Series championship with Ty Majeski.

Rich Lushes

Rich Lushes has been a crew chief in stock car racing since 1985. He joined Late Model Racing in 1985, later progressing to the ARCA Racing Series. He has been in NASCAR since 1999. Lushes served as a crew chief for JR Motorsports until the 2017 season. He joined ThorSport Racing in 2017. Lushes has one championship under his name as a crew chief. He won the 2023 Truck Series championship with Ben Rhodes.
