Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Beatriz Haddad Maia is a Brazilian professional tennis player, who is ranked No. 17 by the the WTA as of January 2025. She is one of the most successful women's tennis players from Brazil. She reached the final of the Australian Open in doubles, in 2022, becoming the only the third Brazilian woman in a final of a Grand Slam tournament.
Beatriz Haddad Maia has won four singles, and seven doubles titles in her career so far, and achieved her career-high singles of No. 10 in June 2023. She is the first woman player from Brazil, who reach the top 10 in WTA rankings. Her best Grand Slam result came in the 2023 French Open when she advanced to the semifinals.
