Aryna Sabalenka vs Yulia Putintseva prediction
Sabalenka will enter the match as the heavy favorite to win but Putintseva should not be written off, as she was able to take a game off the Belarusian when they locked horns at the Wuhan Open.
The 26-year-old won 21 out of 26 points on her first serve during her match against Zarazua, serving five aces. Sabalenka's hard-hitting, strong serve and mentality, will no doubt be tough for Putintseva to handle.
The Kazakh won 34 out of 45 points on her first serve in her previous match, while serving two aces and as many double faults. Putintseva loves to play aggressively but she is also a pretty good counterpuncher, which could come in handy while dealing with the World No. 1's intensity.
While Putintseva is not one to be written off, Sabalenka's run of form should see her come out on top and book her place in the quarterfinals.
Pick: Sabalenka to win in straight sets.
