Born on April 15, 1999, Denis Shapovalov is a professional tennis player from Canada. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of No. 10 in September 2020, becoming the third highest-ranked Canadian male tennis player in history behind Milos Raonic and Félix Auger-Aliassime. According to the ATP website, Shapovalov has won more than $12.2 million in prize money, as of November 2024.

His best grand slam performance came at the 2011 and 2012 US Open, where he reached the quarterfinals. Tipsarevic was part of the Serbia team in 2010 and helped his country win the Davis Cup.
The duo has a trial training week in Basel in October and will practice in Dubai during the off-season. Previously he was coached by Matt Daly.
