Diana Shnaider is a professional tennis player from Russia. She is a talented left-handed youngster, with a career-high ranking of No. 12 in the world. Shnaider was born on 2 April 2004 in Zhigulevsk, Russia. After turning pro in 2023, she has won three singles titles in a year.

Along with her singles efficiency, Diana Shnaider also has a career-high doubles ranking of No. 37 in the WTA Rankings in January 2025.. The 20-year-old’s best Grand Slam result came at the 2024 US Open, where she was seeded #18 in the tournament. Shnaider started playing tennis at a young age, and moved to Moscow at the age of nine. Diana Shnaider has won four career singles titles, as of January 2025. The first of these championships came at Hua Hin, Thailand, when Shnaider defeated second seed Zhu Lin in the final. The score line was 6-3 2-6 6-1 in favor of the Russian.

Next, Diana Shnaider claimed the 2024 Bad Homburg Open title, beating Donna Vekic in the summit clash. She resultantly broke into the WTA Top-30 in the month of July 2024. Her third trophy was at Budapest, where she beat Aliaksandra Sasnovich in straight sets to win the title.

Shnaider's last victory came at the 2024 Hong Kong Open, defeating Katie Boulter in the final. She recently won her maiden WTA doubles title at the 2025 Brisbane International Open, with Andreeva defeating the team of Anna Kalinskaya and Priscilla Hon.

At the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Diana Shnaider won a silver medal in women’s doubles. This was her most prominent performance on the doubles circuit. Along with Mirra Andreeva, she reached the Olympic final where the pair lost to Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.
