The 30-year-old has four singles titles to her name, along with one doubles crown. Having turned pro in 2011, Alexandrova is enjoying a rich vein of form and her best-ever ranking.

Alexandrova was born on November 15, 1994, and resides in Prague, Czech Republic. She has a powerful style of play, dominated by her phenomenal ground-strokes. She also has a dangerous serve, and packs the talent to upset any top player. The season campaigner made her WTA singles debut in 2016, and won her first title in the same year. Along with her individual trophies, Alexandrova is also a Billie Jean King Cup champion from 2020/21.

Alexandrova reached the finals at the 2024 Linz Open but lost to Jelena Ostapenko. At the 2024 Miami Open, she advanced to her second WTA 1000 semifinal, overpowering Jessica Pegula after being set down in the quarterfinal. However, Danielle Collins defeated her in the semifinals.

Alexandrova is known for playing in doubles tournaments and reached the quarterfinal of the Miami Open and the 2024 Qatar Open. She finished quarterfinalist in singles and semifinalist in doubles with Katerina Siniakova at the 2024 Wuhan Open.

Representing Russia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Alexandrova reached the second round before bowing out. She holds a 2-1 record at the Billie Jean King Cup with her country and is also a winner of the tournament.
