Mertens has won 20 WTA doubles and eight singles titles till date, including seven WTA 1000-level tournaments in doubles and two WTA 500 tournaments in singles. Elise Mertens' Doubles Partner

Hsieh Su-wei is Elise Mertens' current doubles partner. The pair won the 2021 Wimbledon title together and competed in the WTA Finals, where they reached the final. However, after the 2021 season, they did not play much together. In the 2023 season, Mertens partnered up with Storm Hunter, and they achieved a lot of success together.

But at the beginning of the 2024 season, Mertens and Su-Wei again started playing doubles together. The first big tournament where they competed as a team was the 2024 Australian Open, where they won the doubles title. At the 2024 Australian Open, Mertens and Su-wei defeated Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok in the final.

Besides Sabalenka, Mertens has also teamed up with Storm Hunter. The pair reached the final of the Australian Open in 2023, where they lost against Marta Kostyuk and Elena-Gabriela Ruse. Mertens and Hunter won the 2023 Italian Open and 2023 Guadalajara Open titles. They also reached the semifinal of the 2023 WTA Finals.
