Francisco Cerundolo, the Argentine tennis playe­r, is ranked No. 26 by the ATP as of February 2025. In June­ 2023, he achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 19. Te­nnis prowess evidently runs in the Ce­rundolo family as his father Alejandro was also a professional player.

With his commendable performance, Francisco Cerundolo registered a total of five wins against top-10 players in 2023, including defeating Jannik Sinner, Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz and Felix Auger Aliassime. He reached the final of the 2025 Argentina Open, losing to Joao Fonseca in straight sets. Ce­rundolo has won three ATP singles titles till date, including the 2024 Croatia Open, 2023 Eastbourne Open and the 2022 Bastad Open. At the 2023 Eastbourne Open, he defeated top seed Tommy Paul in the final, becoming the first Argentine winner on grass since 1995.

Ce­rundolo reached his third ATP 500 semifinal at the 2024 Rio Open, where he lost to eventual champion Sebastian Baez. In the Eastbourne Open, he became the first player from Argentina to win an ATP Tour grass title since Frana in 1995 Nottingham. He finished quarterfinalist at the 2024 Madrid Open, losing to Taylor Fritz.

Cerúndolo played a crucial role in Argentina's qualification for the 2024 Davis Cup. At the 2024 Laver Cup, he defeated Casper Ruud in the group stage. He also achieved a significant milestone by securing his fourth top-10 win of the year against Andrey Rublev at the Paris Masters. Additionally, he won his third ATP title at the 2024 Croatia Open, defeating Lorenzo Musetti in the final.
