Francisco Cerúndolo is an Argentine professional tennis player who turned professional in 2018. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 19 in June 2023 and is ranked No. 30 by ATP as of 2024. He has won three ATP singles titles till date, including the 2022 Bastad Open, the 2023 Eastbourne International and 2024 Croatia Open.

Cerúndolo’s best Grand Slam result came at the 2023 French Open, where he lost in the fourth round to Holger Rune in five sets. He became the Latin American No. 1 player by reaching the quarterfinal at the 2023 Cordoba Open, defeating Federico Delbonis. He reached his third ATP 500 semifinal at the 2024 Rio Open, where he lost to eventual champion Sebastian Baez.

He registered five wins against top-10 players in 2023, including defeating Jannik Sinner, Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz and Felix Auger Aliassime. Cerundolo recorded his 100th career win by upsetting top seed Andrey Rublev at the 2024 Paris Masters. He advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Almaty Open, where he lost to Gabriel Diallo. Additionally, he clinched his third ATP title at the 2024 Croatia Open title, defeating Lorenzo Musetti despite losing the first set.
