Nick Kyrgios' abdominal injury concern ahead of the 2025 Australian Open has sparked discussions among tennis fans. Some of them took delight in the possibility of the controversial Aussie missing out on his home, Major, due to his recent attacks on his peers.

Kyrgios returned to tennis at the Brisbane International after sitting out for over a year due to various injuries and surgeries. He lost to Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in a topsy-turvy three-setter. Many await the 29-year-old's return at the Australian Open, however, there recently was a concerning announcement from his end, which he shared on his Instagram story.

Nick Kyrgios' incessant attacks on Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, especially the former, over the doping saga verdicts, have drawn the ire of many tennis fans due to the Aussie's manner of expressing his disapproval.

They reacted to possible abdominal injury on X (formerly Twitter), where one fan joked about how the Aussie said he was going to fight for a Grand Slam and 'shut people up', alluding to his comments to CODE Sports.

In the latest of espioode of Served with Andy Roddick, tennis journalist Jon Wertheim opined Anna Kalinskaya, Nick Kyrgios' ex-girlfriend, being the reason behind the Aussie's continuous attacks on Jannik Sinner and not the doping saga.

"This is just a personal vendetta. There is a woman involved here, who also happens to be a player," Wertheim said.
"But he didn't even seem to understand the doping protocols and the context to begin with which leads me to conclude this is all just a bad faith vendetta against a player who's now dating a former girlfriend and nothing more," he added.

However, Nick Kyrgios took to X to respond to Wetheim stating he didn't care of the World No. 1's relationship since he was happy with Costeenn Hatzi. He also called Andy Roddick out for being a 'sheep'.

"Hahaha of course - sweep sweep sweep, how is this now my fault? I couldn’t care less where sinner lays his wood 😭😂 I’m in a happy relationship 🙏🏽 I just don’t like people who are cheating the system. Roddick - never ever thought you were a sheep my guy lol," Kyrgios posted.

Nick Kyrgios had tennis fans outraged after his disparaging remarks on Kalinskaya, in a now a deleted post, during his feud with Sinner.
