Winning an Olympic medal for the country is the dream of every athlete. For tennis players, winning the Grand Slam and becoming the World No. 1 is a surreal feeling, but winning an Olympic medal remains one of the most coveted prizes in tennis.

The tennis tournaments at the 2024 Paris Olympics will be played from July 27 to August 4. This year, several top players such as Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and Elena Rybakina will try to win their first Olympic medal.

Since the 1992 Barcelona Games, this will be the first time when Olympic tennis will be played on claycourts.

Venus Williams is the most successful tennis player in the Olympics, winning five medals, including four gold and one silver. Andy Murray, meanwhile, is the only tennis player to win two consecutive gold medals (2012, 2016) in the singles.

The 2024 Olympics tennis venue

Tennis events at the 2024 Olympics will be held at Roland Garros from July 27 to August 4. This is the same venue, where the French Open is played.

Since the 2012 Londen Games, this will be the first time the Olympic tournament will be played at a Grand Slam venue.

Roland Garros has prepared 12 courts for the 2024 Olympics events, including the Court Philippe Chatrier and Court Suzanne Lenglen.

The gold medal match for the women's singles will be played on Saturday, August 3, and the men's singles final will be played on Sunday, August 4.

The men's doubles final will be played on August 3, and the women's doubles final will be played on August 4. The mixed doubles final will be played on August 2.
