On the November 8, 2024, episode of SmackDown, Sikoa challenged the three superstars for a WarGames match and the match was officiated when Sami Zayn became the fourth member, bringing the Original Bloodline back. Bronson Reed then became the fifth member for Team Bloodline. Paul Heyman then returned to WWE and introduced CM Punk as the fifth member of the Original Bloodline. WWE Survivor Series Event History
After the success of WrestleMania III, Vince McMahon created the concept of the first Survivor Series which was held in 1987. The main event of the first edition of Survivor Series was between Hulk Hogan and André the Giant. Originally Survivor Series became a "Thanksgiving tradition" with the first eight Survivor Series events taking place on either Thanksgiving Day (1987–1990) or Thanksgiving Eve (1991–1994). Since 1995 Survivor Series has been held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving (except for the 2005 and 2006 events, which again, were held after Thanksgiving). The event now takes place on Saturday like all the other WWE Premium Live Events. Further, since 2022, the traditional five-on-five RAW vs. SmackDown matches were changed to WarGames matches.
