Looking at the Chicago Blackhawks' season so far and upcoming schedule following tonight's game against Minnesota
Following the individual success of Connor Bedard's rookie year, general manager Kyle Davidson went to work bolstering the team's roster this summer. With the acquisitions of Teuvo Teravainen and Tyler Bertuzzi, the team entered this season with high hopes; however, it has struggled to find consistency so far.
After going 2-3 through its first five games of the season, the team went on a four-game skid that included losses to Buffalo, Vancouver, Nashville and Dallas.
While they defeated the Colorado Avalanche in a pivotal divisional matchup on Oct. 28, they then closed out the month of October with a loss to the Sharks.
Since then, the team has gone 2-2, opening November with a two-game win streak that saw them defeat the Kings and the Ducks. The team has lost two straight heading into tonight's game.
After hosting the Wild, the Blackhawks will then hit the road for a two-game stretch that will see them play the Kraken on Nov. 14 and the Canucks on Nov. 16. From there, they will then return home for a two-game stretch that will include a Nov. 19 game against the Ducks and a Nov. 21 game against the Panthers.
