Tonight, the Chicago Blackhawks will look to make it three in a row after picking up back-to-back wins over the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals this week. While the team continued to struggle after parting ways with coach Luke Richardson, they showed signs of life this week.

Across the ice from them tonight, however, is a Seattle Kraken team eager to snap a two-game skid that has seen them fall to the Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators.

Chicago is in seventh place in the Central Division with a record of 11-19-2. On the flip side, Seattle is in sixth place in the Pacific Division with a record of 15-16-2, four points behind the fifth-place Calgary Flames.

When Chicago takes the ice tonight, they will be without several players, including Laurent Brossoit, Seth Jones, Petr Mrazek and Alec Martinez, who are all on the injured reserve list. Additionally, Craig Smith is likely to miss tonight's game after sustaining an injury against the Islanders.

Looking at the odds for tonight's game between Chicago and Seattle, as well as upcoming games on the Blackhawks' schedule

Heading into tonight's game between the Blackhawks and the Kraken, Chicago is sitting as a slight underdog despite their recent win streak. While they're heading into tonight's game with momentum, the Kraken's overall play this season seems to have fans confident they'll get the job done on the road.

On FanDuel, Chicago is a +112 underdog, while on the flip side, Seattle is a -134 favorite. On DraftKings, the odds are nearly identical, with Chicago as a +114 underdog and Seattle as a -135 favorite.

If these odds stay consistent between now and the start of the game, it would take a $135 bet on Seattle as the favorites to win $100 while a $100 bet on Chicago as the underdogs would win $114.

Following tonight's game, Chicago will hit the road for a three-game stretch to see them play the Flames on Saturday, the Wild on Monday and the Sabres on Dec. 27.

The Blackhawks will head home to wrap up December, hosting the Dallas Stars on Dec. 29 and the Blues on Dec. 31.
