On Saturday, the Boston Bruins and Utah Hockey Club will collide in a highly anticipated cross-conference matchup. In the case of the Bruins, the team will be looking to build on a 5-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday after a loss to the Florida Panthers earlier in the week.
On the flip side, Utah will look to snap a two-game skid that saw it start the week by dropping a 3-0 loss on the road to the New Jersey Devils, before then suffering an overtime loss at the hands of the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.
Currently, the Bruins are fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 3-2-0 record that sees them sitting on six points, tied with the Tampa Bay Lightning (3-0-0) and the Toronto Maple Leafs (3-1-0).
In the case of the Utah Hockey Club, the team is third in the Central Division with a 3-1-1 record that sees them seven points behind the Winnipeg Jets (4-0-0) and the Dallas Stars (4-1-0).
While Boston will be skating into tonight's game with a healthy roster and Jeremy Swayman in net, the Utah Hockey Club has three players on its injury report.
Leading up to the game, coach André Tourigny informed media members that it would be "months" before John Marino returned to action as the result of an upper-body injury sustained during camp.
In addition, the team also has Nick Bjugstad sidelined for at least another week and Sean Durzi out for the next several months, which could prove to be a major blow to the Utah Hockey Club.
Boston Bruins vs. Utah Hockey Club prediction
Although the Utah Hockey Club is 1-0 at home this season, given the momentum Boston is riding into tonight's game after two straight wins, it's hard to count it out.
In addition, with Jeremy Swayman in net for the first time since the team's Oct. 14 loss to the Florida Panthers, Boston will look to build on the momentum of its two-game win streak in tonight's contest.
Given that and the injuries that have continued to plague the Utah Hockey Club, we're predicting that the Boston Bruins get the job done on the road.
Boston Bruins vs. Utah Hockey Club odds
Across most major U.S. sportsbooks, the Boston Bruins are sitting as a slight favorite, while Utah sits as a slight underdog. On FanDuel, Boston has -134 odds to win, while Utah has +112 odds.
These odds are consistent with odds seen on DraftKings, where Boston has -130 odds to win, while Utah has +110 odds to win.

Of course, with several hours before puck-drop, these odds are subject to change.
