Brandon Carlo is an American professional ice hockey defenseman for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. Carlo played minor hockey with the Colorado Thunderbirds in the 2011–12 season and later joined the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he served as assistant captain.
He was selected by the Bruins in the second round, 37th overall, of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Carlo debuted in the NHL during the 2016–17 season, partnering with veteran Zdeno Chára. He helped Boston reach the 2019 Stanley Cup Final, scoring a goal against the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. He secured a six-year contract with the Bruins in 2021.
