Brandon Montour, born on April 11, 1994, is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Seattle Kraken in the National Hockey League (NHL). Montour is of Mohawk descent and spent part of his childhood in Ohsweken, a village in the reserve of Six Nations of the Grand River. Remarkably, he also has a background in lacrosse and won a Minto Cup with the Six Nations Arrows. Montour also played in lacrosse tournaments with future Ducks teammate, Nick Ritchie and his brother Brett Ritchie.

Brandon Montour began his hockey career in Cambridge, Ontario before moving to Brantford Golden Eagles in the 2010-11 season. The subsequent seasons saw Montour hone his skills between Waterloo Black Hawks, University of Massachusetts, Norfolk Admirals, and the Sea Diego Gulls before making his debut for the Anaheim Ducks in December 2016. In 2024, he won the Stanley Cup for the Florida Panthers.
