Bruce James Cassidy is a Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. Drafted 18th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1983, he had a playing career limited by injuries before transitioning into coaching. Cassidy gained recognition for his success with teams like the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL and later in the NHL with the Boston Bruins, leading them to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2019.
