The Montreal Canadiens (22-18-4) will look to build on a two-game win streak when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs (28-16-2) on Saturday. With four wins in their last five games and 11 of their last 14, the Habs have hit their stride. On the flip side, Toronto will be looking to build momentum on a 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, which snapped a three-game skid.

With Toronto looking to extend their gap at the top of the Atlantic Division, and Montreal looking to climb it, this should be a good watch.

Canadiens vs Maple Leafs odds

Heading into Saturday's game between the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs, bettors are backing Toronto, which should come as little surprise given how well the Maple Leafs have played this season.

On BallyBet, Toronto is a -141 favorite while Montreal is a +117 underdog. Based on these odds, it would take a $141 bet on Toronto as the favorites to win $100 while on the flip side, a $100 bet on Montreal as the underdog would win $117.

Canadiens' upcoming games

Following tonight's game, the Habs will be back in action tomorrow night when they host the New York Rangers. The team will then host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday before hitting the road for a showdown with the Red Wings on Thursday.

From there, the team will head back home to host the Devils next Saturday in what will be the first of three home games to wrap up the month of January.
