On Sunday, the Vancouver Canucks will look to make it two straight wins when they face off with the Detroit Red Wings in a cross-conference showdown. While the Canucks will be looking to build on a win in their most recent game, Detroit will be looking to get back in the win column after a loss to the New Jersey Devils their last time out.

Vancouver is sitting in fourth place in the Pacific Division with a 12-7-3 record that's seen them go 5-5-0 over their last 10. Meanwhile, Detroit is sitting in sixth place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 10-11-2 this season that's seen them go 4-5-1 in their last 10.

Ahead of Sunday's game, Vancouver will be without Thatcher Demko, Derek Forbort and JT Miller. In addition, Filip Hronek is listed as day-to-day and is questionable to play tonight.

Assuming Hronek is sidelined, the Canucks lines tonight are projected to be as follows.

Heading into today's game between the Canucks and Red Wings, Vancouver is sitting as a -144 favorite on FanDuel, while the Red Wings are +120 underdogs. These odds are consistent with those seen on DraftKings, however, on DK, the odds are slightly closer to even.

Per their live odds, Vancouver is a -135 favorite, while the Red Wings are +114 underdogs. This means that a $135 bet is needed on Vancouver to win $100 whereas a $100 bet on the Red Wings as the underdogs would win $114.

Following today's game, the Canucks will play the Minnesota Wild on the road on Tuesday, before returning home for a six-game stretch. Their home stretch will start on Friday with a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, followed by a game against the Lightning on Sunday, Dec. 8.

From there, the team will host the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, Dec. 10, the Panthers on Thursday, Dec. 12, the Bruins on Saturday, Dec. 14, and the Avalanche on Monday, Dec. 16.
