On Tuesday, the Vancouver Canucks will look to build on a two-game win streak when they travel to Chicago to face off against the Blackhawks. After dropping three straight games to start the season, the Canucks have started to find their rhythm, defeating the Florida Panthers in overtime on Thursday before then avenging a previous loss to the Flyers on Saturday.
While JT Miller was absent from the ice during practice as part of a "maintenance day," coach Rick Tocchet sounded optimistic about his chances of playing Tuesday in Chicago, albeit without the first-liner taking faceoffs.
If Miller doesn't skate tonight, Pius Suter, who filled in for Miller on the first line in practice, will start. If Miller does play, expect him to start, with Suter returning to fourth-line LW duties.

Latest news surrounding injuries to Canucks starters JT Miller and Thatcher Demko
While it's unclear whether or not JT Miller will play tonight, Rick Tocchet updated Miller to media members on Monday. While he didn't commit to Miller playing on Tuesday, the belief seems to be that Miller avoided a major injury on Saturday when the Canucks faced the Flyers.
In the first shift on Saturday, moments after taking the opening faceoff, Miller headed to the locker room, leaving fans to fear the worst. Although it was unclear what exactly happened, he returned to the ice later in the period and closed out the game with 17:01 minutes on the ice.
In the case of Thatcher Demko, he's still sidelined following an injury in the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year. TSNs Darren Dreger reported in early October that the Canucks were optimistic that Demko would return to the ice "in approximately one month."
Since Demko is out for tonight's game in Chicago, he could wind up back on the ice soon. His presence, of course, will be a welcome sight for Canucks fans when he does return.
