Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks, founded in 1926, are a professional NHL team. They are based in Chicago and part of the Central Division in the Western Conference and are one of the "Original Six" teams and have won six Stanley Cup championships. Since 1995, the Blackhawks have played their home games at the United Center, which they share with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls.

The team’s ownership history began with Frederic McLaughlin, who led the Blackhawks to two Stanley Cup titles in 1934 and 1938. Later ownership by the Norris family saw another Stanley Cup win in 1961. Since 1966, the Wirtz family has owned the franchise, with Rocky Wirtz reviving the team’s success, including three Stanley Cup wins in 2010, 2013, and 2015.
