Connor Bedard is a Canadian ice hockey player in the National Hockey League. He was born on July 17, 2005, in North Vancouver, Canada. He is among the youngest players in the NHL playing with the Chicago Blackhawks as of December 2024. Connor became the first player to enter the Western Hockey League at the age of 15 years old and made history. He entered a year earlier than the typical age limit required to play in the WHL.

Connor Bedard was selected first overall by the Regina Pats in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft, becoming the first player with exceptional player status in the league. He won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the top rookie in his debut season. In his third WHL year, he claimed the Bob Clarke Trophy for leading scorer and the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy for MVP, along with the CHL's Top Scorer and Player of the Year honors. Internationally, Bedard won championships with Canada's U18 team in 2021 and the junior team in 2022 and 2023.
