Conor Geekie was born to Craig and Tobi Geekie. Craig has been a major driving force behind his development. A former WHL and professional hockey player, Craig passed down his passion and knowledge of the game to his sons.

Craig also coached Conor during his early years. As Morgan Geekie, Conor’s older brother shared in an interview with Sportsnet:

“He’s probably one of the most knowledgeable people I know... He’s the one that shaped us into who we are.”

Craig and Tobi Geekie have built their lives on a 27-acre farm property just outside town. While Craig now works in farm equipment sales, Tobi works in the banking industry, as per the New York Times.

Craig Geekie, born on March 16, 1973, in Strathclair, Manitoba, played junior hockey with the Brandon Wheat Kings in the WHL. He continued his career with the Spokane Chiefs before playing professionally with the Oklahoma City Blazers in the CHL. Craig later played senior hockey with the Foxwarren Falcons, becoming a key contributor as per Elite Prospects.
